Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 6 am–7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. It's the only coffee shop I know that has chicory. Great little place. Nice people. Clean restrooms.

I went to try what was on the sign through the drive thru. Me and my pregnant wife wanted to try the peach strawberry craft soda. The lady in the intercom said we don't have that, she was confused as if she didn't know the sign was there. I love this place but when I make the drive to go to what I thought was the best coffee place in Tyler, please be educated on what is being served. That's the number one thing about coffee shops, if you clearly have a sign posted near the drive thru but tell me we don't have that craft soda just the ingredients. Than why is the sign posted there in the first place. We decided on a different coffee shop.. please do better Pj's coffee.

Met a friend for coffee and some Bible study. This was my first visit to PJ's. This is a very clean, quiet environment and cozy! The barristas were excellent; personable, professional, and efficient. The coffee was wonderful!! I can personally vouch for the cold protein latte!!πŸ˜‹

Love this place. I lived in New Orleans for years and hadn't had a good beignet in years. Very nice staff. And great coffee and food. My granddaughter had a breakfast sandwich. She said it was great. Definitely a good place to hang out enjoy food and beverages and good company. Highly recommend. πŸ˜‹

PJ’s brings a little bit of New Orleans to Tyler…for me that’s a really good thing. The first thing is that they are the only place that I know that has chicory coffee. Maybe you’ve had Cafe Du Monde chicory coffee from the mustard yellow can or maybe you’ve been to the cafΓ© in New Orleans. Anyway, once you taste the chicory in the coffee, you’ll know if it appeals to you…if it does, this is THE place to get it locally. The other thing is that great New Orleans taste treat called Beignets; they are available in an order of three, six, or twelve. If you’ve never had them imagine something like a funnel cake made as a pillow shape. That’s not a terrific analogy because the texture is different both on the golden-brown fried exterior and also inside these pillow-shaped pastries. But what really puts it over the top is a copious amount of powdered sugar sprinkled everywhere! it should look like it has snowed for two hours on your beignets. (Pro-tip: order yours to come in a β€œboat” with extra powdered sugar! That’s what is pictured here.) I think these things are fantastic and I think the coffee is fantastic. Do you know what isn’t fantastic? Serving these in paper boats and cof
